Our AZ-Delivery GY-68 unit reliably and accurately measures temperature and pressure in the air. Therefore, it is perfect as a centerpiece for your DIY weather station and DIY thermometer.

The main component of our unit is an air pressure and temperature sensor based on the BMP180 sensor. This is more accurate than the previous model BMP085: it can measure air pressure in the range of 300 – 1100 hPa and measure temperature in the range of -40°C to +85°C.

The sensor has an accuracy of 0.02 – 0.06 hPA, which is approximately an altitude difference. 17cm and can measure temperatures with an accuracy of 0.1°C. Moreover, the energy efficiency of the sensor has also been improved, so it is also significantly more energy efficient than the BMP085.

A lot has also been done in terms of size: the unit has a compact size of just 13 x 10 x 2.6 mm. This means that it can be integrated into any project.

The unit can be easily connected via I2C and is very easy to attach to an existing mounting hole without a bracket.

Sensor voltage ranges from 1.8V to 3.6V, but the unit can be operated at up to 5V.
